Today marks the end of my first week on my elimination diet! Unfortunately I didn't do too well today :-(
Facing it head on, I am only slowing down my own healing process. Tomorrow will be a better day and now I know better. Doing prior research really is important! Right now I'm praying I do not suffer itching or severe inflammatory reaction.
What I ate today:
Breakfast - Green bean soup. Oatmeal with coconut seed mix.
Snack - Sweet potato. Rice flour bread (WEAKNESS. Though rice flour, I'm sure there is dairy in it. Processed anyhoo. It was so darn good though.)
Lunch - Boiled bittergourd & kelp. Salmon.
Dinner - Yongtaufoo. Shared taiwan matcha snow ice (dairy) and ginger soup tangyuan.
I think I was too heavy on my carbs and refined sugars today. Yikes. Sorry stomach and skin.
How my skin felt today:
Areas other than my face felt pretty good! Seems like its healing slowly, drying up. Folds at my left arm still quite inflammed, pretty much like the day before. Scratches on my hands drying up.
My face though, after applying the sierra bee salve the night before, was drying up! I have experienced this when I was healing last time and it seemed like a good direction to be heading, so fingers crossed it will be the same this time round. Itchy fingers could not resist peeling and I think certain parts were not dried up fully and ended up weeping.
In other news, something slightly alarming happened today. When I cleaning up after pooping, there was blood? It wasn't particularly painful. But I guess I shall observe more before jumping the gun. Read up alittle, and doubt it is related to my current diet. Maybe I held in my poop for a little too long ha ha ha.
